Five Time INC 500 Winning Financial & Marketing firm seeks a VP of Technology with substantial telecommunications and data warehouse experience to join our team.

The candidate will be responsible for managing existing technology platforms, identifying opportunities for improvement, and lead the efforts of transitioning to new platforms when required.

The right candidate will have an intimate knowledge of platforms used in the marketing and sales industries, and which of those platforms is best suited towards the end goal of improving the company’s overall technology stack.

The chosen candidate will have a long, and proven track record of managing multiple platforms in a fast-paced sales & marketing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Spearhead the design & creation of a new data warehouse, with real-time reports and dashboards displaying the company’s most important KPIs.
• Analyze the company’s existing telecommunications technology stack composed of 3 separate phone systems, and devise a way to merge features from all 3 systems into one.
• Maintain companies in-house and cloud based technologies ensuring the highest possible uptime, usability and reliability for all stakeholders.
• Practice a continuous technology improvement cycle, routinely reviewing each platform, and assessing if it still meets companies needs, and if/when they don’t, find alternatives & present options to executive decision makers.
• Direct and manage technological improvement efforts and innovations. Analyze the costs, value, and risks advising leadership and suggesting actions.
• Develop key performance metrics to measure success and identify and iterate on opportunities for optimization.
• Build and maintain technology roadmaps and plans, integrating them into overall enterprise technology roadmaps.
• Manage technology department employees and create a team environment that fosters personal investment and excellence; nurtures other’s commitment to a common vision and shared values; provides opportunities for growth and achievement; facilitate collaboration and teamwork
• Manage communication and project efforts between company and external service providers.
• Implement cybersecurity, reliability, and disaster recovery options optimized for company needs.
• Travel as needed by air and/or car to support the department and the business.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of leadership experience in IT function with oversight of budgets, services, and internal/external resources
• Extensive experience with telecommunications platforms including integrated click-to-dial CRM telecommunications platforms (Five9 or Similar)
• Extensive experience building and maintaining data warehouses with millions of unique records.
• Experience with Salesforce and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field required
• Excellent presentation and leadership skills
• Full span of knowledge of digital experience, hosting (platform, server, and storage), cloud, network, and telecommunications technologies. Ability to “deep-dive” into emerging technologies and interact with internal and external experts; recommending potential partnerships that provide efficiencies and competitive advantage
• Track record of applying creative thinking to produce breakthrough strategies
• This position is IN-HOUSE with travel as necessary, requiring the ability to travel by air and/or car to meet business needs, approximately 5% or less

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, vendors and other third-parties.

Hourly compensation will be based upon experience; health benefits and 401k available after 90 days; accrued paid time off; paid holidays.
