**Description:**M-F 9am-5pm schedule located in Long Beach, CA facility.SERVICES TO BE PERFORMEDKey Responsibilities:Workers will help check hardware for visual damage along with the inspection of wheels, tires, brakes (hardware) before performing any or all steps in the prep process, which includes: sensor calibration, software deployment (step by step software keystroke inputs), verifying battery voltage, and pulling IP addresses. Experience using a laptop and accurately inputting keystrokes is crucial. Experience with smart phone repair, mechanical or automotive work is a huge plus. Workers must have the ability to follow step by step instructions, and be comfortable working with peers to communicated when help is needed.* Perform steps for the hardware bring up process by following an already set standard* Camera calibrations, software input keystrokes, mechanical spot checks and light work (plugging in wires, screw driver, etc.)* Work closely with technology and engineering teams to improve our systems and processes* Communicate with internal and external individuals to ensure proper performance* Comply with company policies and procedures along with Amazon Logistics rules and regulations* Assist in training other team members, as needed* Adhere to strict safety and quality standards* Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts lasting up to 8 hours* Lift up to 49lbs* Move up and down stairs* Climb in and out of van* Work a set core full-time schedule (Monday-Friday) with additional hours, weekends, evenings, and potential schedule changes depending on time of the year, peak seasons, business need, program changes, and other factorsREQUIRED SKILLSBASIC QUALIFICATIONS* High school diploma or equivalent* Experience with inventory, containers and all tools used to move product throughout the warehouse* Work and stand up to 8 hours* Computer operational knowledge* Able to lift up to 49 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationClose attention to detail and ability to follow details written directions, using a laptop and accurately inputting keystrokes is crucial to success on this project.PREFERRED SKILLSPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with coding, IT tech support or related fields, electronic troubleshooting, smart phone repair, mechanical and automotive work is a huge plus.
