Disney Enterprise Technology is responsible for technology strategy, management, centralized engineering, architecture, IT and technical operations for The Walt Disney Company including virtual worlds, flagship web sites and Enterprise Technology provides services in both platform engineering and web operations. Platform engineering includes Content Management Systems, UGC Enforcement Platform, E-commerce, Video Distribution Technology, Registration, Advertising Systems and Data Warehouse & Reporting.
Enterprise Technology Digital Experience teams focus on delivering global world-class workplace productivity, office automation and user-facing systems such as desktop and mobility endpoint services, messaging and collaboration services, including remote access and managed print services. Digital Experience teams are located in Seattle, Glendale, New York, and Orlando. This specific role focuses on the technology leadership and management of the build and integration functions of enterprise-wide workplace productivity services at The Walt Disney Company.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Responsible for evaluation, engineering, integration, and sustainment of Digital Experience (end-user facing) solutions across the enterprise as a key contributor on the Digital Experience (DX) Engineering team. Coordinates / leads the deliverables for technical design, integration, and implementation of Workplace Services projects and services. This role is expected to provide technical leadership and is responsible for the design, build, configuration, and documentation of new and upgraded Digital Experience global voice and video solutions across the enterprise.
Defines / maintains all aspects of the engineering process including service / product technical evaluation process, lab testing, and service solution design. Works closely with the leader of DX Engineering to ensure alignment with Enterprise Technology strategies. This specific role related to the design and integration of LDAP services. Potential candidates must have a security-first mindset, including experience with tokenized authentication protocols, remediating vulnerability management issues related to authentication and authorization, and have working knowledge of AD-integrated PKI/CA environments.
Oversees and coordinates project timelines for solution engineering activities and Disney resources to ensure requirements are understood, dependencies are defined, evaluation process are developed to business requirements, and the engineered solution is documented and refined to be developed into a future offering. This includes closely coordinating with other teams who are responsible supporting a service and in particular supplier teams. Ensures a high level of satisfaction with engineered services.
Recommend and implement solutions to increase effectiveness and efficiency of solution architecture and engineering services to further enhance support capabilities, documentation, and reporting

The hiring range for this position in California is $136,038 to $182,490 per year and in Washington is $142,516 to $191,180 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
