This role of SharePoint/BI Developer – will support the SAP Division within Alamo City Engineering Services (ACES). The SharePoint/BI Developer will manage the SharePoint site and the digital war room utilizing Power BI and Microsoft Office and 365 products. Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards. Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence. Prepare reports and presentations for upper management regarding status and KPIs of program. This is a remote position. ship a must.

JOB DUTIES:

• Design, build and maintain SharePoint sites and pages for the program
• Design, develop, validate, and troubleshoot high performance/ high-visibility applications using SharePoint and Power BI Apps
• Guides in the design of dashboards that drive process improvements and automation
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Create and deliver effective written and verbal explanations and documentation for program and stakeholders
• Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Manage the relationship with the client and stakeholders
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Meet with clients and stakeholders to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements
• Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members’ individual strengths, skill sets and experience levels
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Works with end users to translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Develop spreadsheets, diagrams, presentations and other documents as needed

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven working experience with SharePoint and Power BI
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work on a highly dynamic team in a fast-paced environment with continuous challenges
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel (i.e., formulas, formatting, pivot tables, macros, etc.)

Skills and Experience Desired:

• BS in Engineering, Business Management, Engineering or Computer Science
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Power BI
• 5+ years recent experience developing and implementing reporting-based solutions using any reporting platform(s)
• At least 5 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics
• Ability to obtain a Government clearance
• Preferred Project Management certification or experience
