About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Product Owner, Enterprise Data Lake . The End-to-End Enterprise Data Lake Capability Product Owner within the Enterprise Data Platform Product Management team will be responsible for defining and maintaining the Enterprise Data Lake (EDL) Hadoop & Cloud Native roadmap and strategies while partnering with various lines of business and their teams. This role will drive end to end alignment and feature enablement’s as per the strategic roadmap.
In this role, you will:
Partner with relevant stakeholders and business leaders to deliver capabilities as per the business needs and build a robust product roadmap and strategy for
Collaborate and coordinate with executives and key leaders to maintain commitment to strategic objectives, alignment to EDL value proposition
Deliver EDL capabilities while ensuring balance with the data governance policies and procedures
Partner to develop and maintain a capability roadmap for the various capabilities (ingestion, integration, consumption, etc.) with rigorous investment analysis that is consistent with our holistic data strategy to meet business needs using value delivery approach and informed by current business needs and emerging technology trends
Design and conduct complex analysis to identify and remediate data quality or integrity issues and to identify and remediate process or control gaps
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking
Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
Required Qualifications, US:
DEFAULT: 7+ years of Data Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
5+ years of experience delivering ETL, data warehouse and data analytics capabilities on big-data architecture such as Hadoop
3+ years of experience in defining the product vision and roadmap
3+ years of experience in data architecture and strategy
Strong expertise in understanding the various aspects of product management, building and delivering capabilities adhering to strategic (data & architectural) principles
Experience delivering successful end user experiences
Experience defining, documenting, and implementing business requirements, policies, procedures and processes
Experience with Hadoop platform, Native Cloud data capabilities
Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities and achieve results
Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influence decisions
A BS/BA degree or higher
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication skills and outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
