At Amcor Rigid Packaging (ARP), our teams are focused on developing and making plastic bottles and jars that create a unique experience and are better for the environment. Our bottles and jars are primarily made from PET (polyethylene terephthalate), which has rapidly become the world’s preferred packaging material. PET is lightweight, shatterproof, recloseable, resealable, reusable and infinitely recyclable .
With approximately 6,000 people across about 50 manufacturing operations in 11 countries and an annual revenue of US$2.9 Billion, ARP provides rigid packaging solutions to the beverage, pharmaceutical, food, and home and personal care segments.

Position Overview:
The position will support the Beverage Business Unit by preparing monthly financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning activities to drive profitability and growth while working with key stakeholders to achieve objectives. This position will also prepare and provide financial analysis and direct support related to profitability, margin analysis, manufacturing performance and other financial analysis as necessary.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist with preparation of accurate and timely month-end analysis, reports and presentations for monthly management reports and monthly/quarterly business reviews covering: BU P&L results; margin analysis; bridge development and volume performance.
Analyze & interpret Beverage segment financial performance versus budget, forecast, and strategic plan by leading preparation of key reports that drive decisions.
Analyze margin, manufacturing profitability and cost-to-produce using numerous available tools (SAP/ BPC/ SMDB/ PMDB/ Line Costing/ Other) & develop new models as required.
Provide analytical support for key initiatives such as cost reduction and revenue improvement.
Assist with development and review of financial statement forecasts to meet business unit, region and business group demands.
Generate, maintain, and ensure accuracy of key forecasting variables such as sales margin, price increases, and COGS variables.
Deliver accurate ad hoc reporting through interaction with internal clients and other cross-functional groups to provide insightful and actionable reporting and analysis as needed.
Prepare financial volume and profitability performance reports for key accounts.
Distribute and prepare sales volume flash report to key commercial stakeholders on a timely monthly basis to introduce actual results.
Support manufacturing facilities on selected issues.
Responsible for updating key spreadsheets that help to prepare the monthly forecast such as income statement forecast model and fixed cost adjustment model.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree In Finance or Accounting; MBA, CMA or CPA preferred.
Minimum 3-5 years of progressively increased responsibility in a financial lead or business analyst role.
Solid financial statement experience/ understanding required
SAP R/3, SAP Business Warehouse
Ability to think critically and leverage available resources
Travel 5%
