Regional Business Development Manager – Eastern US – Rental Equipment Parts and Accessories
The Business Development Regional Manager role will be responsible to drive sales through the growth of existing clients and generate new business opportunities within assigned geographical territory.
Geographical territory includes New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.

Job Description:Achieve and exceed sales goals within the designated territory.
Make daily visits to established accounts and prospect accounts.
Help maintain existing business by developing and maintaining functional, multi-level relationships with customers in the designated territory.
Understand customer needs and find ways to help them achieve their objectives.
Coordinate with inside sales reps, customer support reps, purchasing, etc. to resolve issues and/or follow up on sales opportunities.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 3-5 years related sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in sales or a customer service environment
Rental Equipment Company industry knowledge desirable
Must hold a valid state driver’s license
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Working ConditionsPosition requires extensive overnight travel Monday to Thursday, up to 75%
Customer locations are of an industrial nature (service departments etc.)
Occasional weekend travel
Public speaking engagements as required
