Job Title: Part-Time Seasonal Frontline Supervisor – Days Monday-Friday

Department: 2DA Operations – Worldport, 911 Grade Lane, Louisville, KY 40213

Days: Monday – Friday Hours: 9:000am – 5:00pm (hours vary based on sort)

Job Description:
The Seasonal Frontline Supervisor will work in a warehouse/hub environment. He/She impacts the organization by administering and communicating UPS policies, procedures, and programs in several of the following areas: employment, employee communication, safety, reporting and record keeping, training etc.

In addition, responsibilities will include:

• Will lead basic training programs for employees.
• May also assist in basic research requests made by their management team.
• Must work collaboratively with other members of management as well as employees and maintain a working knowledge of other roles in operation.
• Must have the ability to work Sunday through Saturday (seven-day work week) when necessary and work various timeframes in a non-traditional work schedule.
• Report to work on a regular and timely basis.
• Ability to work varying shifts and extended hours as business needs require.

Part-time: Guaranteed 5 1/2 hours per day, 5 days a week with extended hours as necessary for our peak holiday season.

Required Skills:

• Must have the ability work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have experience using Microsoft Office products and general computer knowledge.

Preferred Skills:

• Hub operational experience is a plus.
• Experience in managing a team.

Interpersonal Skills:
Self-motivated and works well with very little direct supervision. Works with well others and can give direction.
