Production Line Lead

Zirkle Fruit Company in Selah, WA is seeking qualified candidates to work with our Production Leadership Team for both day and night shifts.

Must show a desire and willingness to lead employees and perform necessary leadership functions including but not limited to:

-Oversee and work with all staff in assigned areas, provide training and education to employees, provide corrective feedback when necessary, model the Zirkle Fruit Company Core Vision and Values.

-Have the ability to interpret company policies to workers and enforces all safety regulations.

-Have the ability to interpret specifications, and job orders to workers and assign duties. Must be willing and able to perform general warehouse and assistant lead functions on the line in support of personnel. This position is a working lead.

-Must have the ability to recognize problems and identify which resources to use to help solve problems.

-Must have the knowledge of packing grades and packaging materials.

-Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of warehouse, department, or work crew.

-Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals and efficiently leads a production crew.

-Must have some ability to communicate in English.

-Must possess computer skills adequate enough to comprehend and operate the various sorting and operate any new programs that will be used in the warehouse.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
