Trimlite Manufacturing is looking for a pre finish paint room helper to assist in the door construction process. We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, and enjoys working with their hands in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the door and window construction trade, with use of powered hand tools strongly desired. This is a full-time position in our Tacoma Warehouse.

Work hours are Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, with no graveyard or evening shifts.

Training and Experience:

•Previous construction material handling, window glazing, jamb construction and installation, and service experience desired

Job Description:

•Various tasks associated with door manufacturing, glass insertion, painting, and general creation of doors and related systems.

•Must be comfortable using woodworking machinery, including table saws, moulders, and drilling machines.

•Experience in interior door assembly is an asset, but not mandatory.

Qualifications:

•Positive attitude

•Experience working in a Warehouse environment.

•Basic measuring skills (reading a measuring tape) are required

•Able to stand long hours on hard surfaces, up to 10 hours per day

•Compliance with safety regulations

•Good attendance required

•Possess communication skills to be able to understand basic instructions

•Other duties as assigned by Department Manager or Lead

•Ability to work independently or in a team environment

•Good listening and communication skills

•Able to lift 30-50 lbs.

•Should be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment

•Certified to operate electric standup forklift would be an asset, but not mandatory
