Position Overview
Under the direction of the Warehouse and Assembly Manager this position will perform a variety of duties in the multiple areas of Operations in accordance with company policies and procedures. Duties include assignments in one of the following departments: logistics, supply chain, assembly and/or warehousing. Works under immediate supervision. This is a non-supervisory position.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities, Tasks, & Standards:
• Create weekly reports and monthly reports as needed
• Maintain department metrics
• Tender freight to approved carriers
• Create Production orders for Assembly
• Purchase and coordinate the necessary supplies for the location
• Communicate with HQ in Cottage Grove for various task
• Involved in continuous improvement for all department as well as lead project teams when necessary

• Able to effectively present ideas and information through oral and written communication skills

• Ability to analyze and solve basic problems

Qualifications
Education:
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• Additional education and training a plus
Experience:
• Extensive experience with SAP Transactions preferred
• Requires intermediate working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
• Six-sigma training preferred
• Logistics experience preferred
• Warehouse knowledge
Other Requirements:
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Able to work directly with customers and inside staff to resolve issues in difficult situations
• Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to details
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (knowledge of pivot tables, v-lookup, auto filers, etc.) a plus
• Ability to analyze and organize large amounts of data
• Mechanical / technical aptitude a plus
