Quality Assurance Manager

Your focus will be to analyze and evaluate our products and processes to ensure consistent conformance, within engineering specifications, and to improve the customer experience. This position will have supervisory responsibility for one quality engineer as well as numerous process and product audit technicians.

What skills do you need for a Quality Assurance Manager?

• Bachelor’s Degree, highly preferred, but other academic achievement and years of experience may be considered
• 10+ years of experience within quality management
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt or Lean/Continuous Improvement Certification
• Quality System Management: Working knowledge of part layout, engineering specifications, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Pre-Production Part Approval (PPAP) and QMS software systems; CQE is strongly recommended.
• Continuous Improvement: Provides high quality products and services that meet the needs of the business. Commits to continuous development and fosters an environment that enables the most efficient and effective work processes.
• Planning: Sets goals and objectives. Breaks down work into process steps; develops schedules and task/people assignments; anticipates and adjusts for problems; measures performance; evaluates results. Aligns work with broader business strategy.
• Timely Decision Making: Makes tough decisions in a timely manner, sometimes with incomplete information and under tight deadlines and pressure, has a bias for action.
• Ability to engage and empower the quality team to grow and develop future leaders in the Quality organization.
