Machine Operator – 3rd Shift

Job Summary

We are currently seeking an entry level Machine Operator!

This is a 3rd shift position with hours of 10:00pm – 6:00am, Monday-Friday
The starting pay rate is $19.00 per hour + $2.00 shift differential

Essential responsibilities of the entry level machine operator are:

Safe operation of machines and other equipment
Ensuring all finished product is properly packaged for shipment to the customer
Under direct supervision during training, performance of quality checks of all products as outlined in departmental quality control on inspection procedures and ability to recognize product outside the specified tolerance
Active communication with material handlers regarding materials needed for current and upcoming orders.
Accurate completion of paperwork and label verification
Responsible for neat and accurate production reports and quality check sheets on a daily basis, with direction from trainer
Ability to safely develop and perform the following operator duties on one machine under direct supervision – when necessary

During the training period, the entry-level machine operator will learn the following:

How to operate equipment safely
Quality guidelines
Loading of parent rolls on unwinds
Webbing machines
Tension adjustments
Shimming and adjusting cutting equipment
Set-ups
Changeovers
