Summary The Manager – Logistics (Regional) is responsible for controlling costs and supporting continuous improvements to productivity and systems within the warehouse. The Regional Logistics Manager is expected to set and achieve targets and cost positions while ensuring on time service to the store network. Telework Policy allows for up to 5 days of work from home a week depending on business needs and manager discretion. What You’ll Do Direct oversight and control of departmentEnsure accurate receiving, picking, and shipping of stockOversee warehouse management system to ensure on time deliveryProvide all training materials and ensure that all team members fully comply with relevant trainingMinimize costs and increase efficiencies where possibleMaintain results, analyze and assess performance and implement improvementsEnsure all health & safety standards are adhered to and positively followedApprove all Standard Operating Procedures for assigned area of responsibilityManage, coach, and train members of the workforcePerform other duties as assignedWhat You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in related field2+ years of experience in related fieldIn lieu of degree, 4+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed aboveAbility to commute between stores, regional offices and/or distribution centers up to 50% of the time Knowledge of warehousing and warehousing systems, logistics, and supply chainHealth & safety in the workplaceExcellent written and oral communication skillsLeadership and people management skillsStrong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detailProject management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel)SAP EWM/SAP ERP knowledgeWhat You’ll Receive At Lidl, we know that in order for our people to do their best, they must be at their best.
