A Leading Company in Travel is seeking a IT Business Analyst in Atlanta, GA.
Role Description
Come join the largest airline catering operation in the history of the universe! We put over 700 unique items onboard our aircraft in over 100 cities, on over 4,000 flights to 6 continents every single day. We are seeking a new team member dedicated to helping us keep track of our inventory across the globe. This team member will help with weekly inventory reconciliation and build our next generation of inventory dashboards for use worldwide.
• Locate, extract, and visualize data from a variety of sources for use in: Tableau, Python, SAS, PowerBI, Microsoft Office & Microsoft Analysis
• Work with the business partners for KPI creation and goal setting
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data; use graphs, infographics and other methods to visualize data
• Analyze order data to develop actionable insights to drive process improvement
• Present findings to business unit leaders
• Enjoy working in a high-profile environment with fluid priorities, ambiguity and aggressive deadlines.
• Perform reconciliation of inventory records with external warehouse partners
• Perform reconciliation of inbound purchase orders with vendor and transportation partners
• Be intellectually curious, continuous improvement minded, and fearless when asking questions
• Be a “Do-ers”” who is not afraid of failure, but instead learns from each experience
Skills & Requirements
• Embraces diverse people, thinking and styles
• Experience in data analysis, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field
• Experience with some or all of the following: Python, SQL, SAS, R, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be comfortable working in group and individual settings
• Strong communication skills to convey data and analysis in both individual and presentation settings
• College Degree preferred, but will substitute 3 years of experience with a High School diploma, GED or High School Equivalency
• Experience in SAP preferred
• Experience with inventory management preferred
