We are seeking an Inventory Clerk/Admin Assistant for warehouse and production facility. The Inventory clerk/Admin Assistant is a member of the office team, reporting to the plant superintendent. The colleague in this position provides production and administrative support for management and operational colleagues. The successful colleague will have a strong understanding of the dynamics of the seed business and the priorities of the company and division. Job responsibilities include: Creating production work orders and tags to be used in the treating and packaging of seed. create and process purchase orders, Prepare finished product samples for analytical testing from every stage of the manufacturing process using equipment and computer data systems, Scale house and probe operations during harvest season, Cross-train with other administrative positions for backup and vacation coverage, Perform a variety of responsibilities ranging from routine to complex while maintaining a calm and confident persona. Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting. Communicate with warehouse personnel and management to ensure efficient production. Assist management in performing month end tasks including inventory corrections. Assist in maintaining office filing system including record retention, Assist in maintaining proper QA office housekeeping requirements, Applicant must have regular and prompt attendance. Requirements for this position include: High school diploma or GED with at least 2-3 years of prior relevant office experience Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of urgency in addressing issues Strong verbal and written communication skills, Proven Microsoft Office skills prior Oracle experience highly preferred .Position requires sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time, travel up and down stairs, bending, kneeling, light lifting and communicating by telephone.
