Central Conveyor Company (a member of the Tsubaki Group) is a turn-key Systems Integrator with a complete portfolio of conveyance solutions and products for the Automotive, Parcel & Logistics, and Warehouse & Distribution markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

• Administers policies and procedures. Advices managers/supervisors on policies and procedures.
• Stays current with developing federal and state regulatory changes.
• Thoroughly and expeditiously investigates a variety of employee relations situations, including but not limited to answering employee inquiries, investigating complaints, conflict resolution, employee and/or manager counseling.
• Manages full recruitment function. Actively pursues recruitment networking opportunities for active and passive positions. Engages multiple medias to identify and attract qualified candidates.
• Manages hiring process ensuring post-offer, pre-employment requirements are satisfactorily met.
• Manages on-boarding process.
• Monitors and reports on compliance with AAP requirements. Stays abreast of AAP developments.
• Knowledgeable on OSHA safety requirements. Collaborates with Safety Director on employee safety violations. Active member of Safety Committee.
• Develops and presents training programs on various topics.
• Participates in weekly and biweekly payroll audits to ensure accurate payroll processing. Is knowledgeable on all aspects of payroll processing.
• Leads special projects and/or is a member of a project team as assigned.
• Other tasks/functions as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Three to Five years of Human Resources experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP or SPHR or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point.
• Acts positively upon constructive criticism and coaching.
• Works collaboratively with other HR/Payroll Staff, including at other Company locations.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work based on deadlines.
• Handles confidential information discreetly.
• Highly detail oriented.
• Communicates clearly and comfortably with all employees.
• Conducts self professionally & ethically.
• Remains calm under pressure.
• Places a high emphasis on excellent customer service.
