TITLE: E-Commerce Technology Services Specialist I

GENERAL SUMMARY: Support the ongoing design, development, and maintenance of the website. Help maintain maximum uptime and optimizes site speed and performance. Works with vendors and GICW project teams to further GICW s goals of website management, development, and user experience. Monitors site analytics and collects data from multiple sources to generate reports that inform the decision making process for growth of the website.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential Functions:

• Foster and demonstrate a positive team environment.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with peers, corporate staff, store staff, and outside vendors.
• Must demonstrate willingness and ability to adhere to all GICW’s policies and procedures, PCI-DSS guidelines, CARF standards, Kaizen guidelines, safety, and security regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers, including marketplace business-to-business, and all functional departments.

E-Commerce

• Maximize revenue from donated goods through online sales.
• Increase brand awareness and revenue of online operations through innovative and data driven strategies under the direct supervision of the Executive E-Commerce Manager.
• Monitor marketplaces and collaborate on corrective action to ensure compliance with marketplace requirements and customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and respond to questions about in accordance with GICW policies and standards.
• Develop and implement training guides for sellers and organize continued training as needed.
• Provide ongoing assistance to E-Commerce management staff as needed.
• Manage and maintain core functional aspects of the website including Customer Service, Data Analytics, Reporting, and Compliance.

Operations

• Work with team to maintain web systems and services that support business strategy.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on E-Commerce sales activity by product category for sales marketplaces.
• Troubleshoot E-Commerce equipment, software, hardware, and network issues in cooperation with IT as needed.
• Applies innovative techniques to solve technical problems.
• Work with inventory and order management systems and vendors to maintain the system for optimal functionality.
• Track website analytics and generate reports and recommendations to improve customer experience and site performance.
• Help maintain maximum processing up-time through system checks and routine maintenance.
• Completes projects as assigned.

Loss Prevention

• Keep premises clean and free of safety hazards. Ensure that safety procedures are understood and followed by all staff.
• Ensure all loss prevention matters are addressed and reported, in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper operation of store security including, but not limited to: GICW network accounts and passwords, systems security Policy 110, online passwords, door locks, alarms and office door.

Incidental Functions:

• Perform miscellaneous duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Specific:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• BA/BS degree or minimum of one year experience in E-Commerce or website development/administration.
• Ability to communicate with and train diverse populations effectively.
• Must have working knowledge and experience with Windows based computers, operating systems, a wide variety of peripheral devices, and network equipment.
• Must possess strong interpersonal and writing skills.
• Must exhibit a high level of integrity and business ethics.
• Must be able to work store operating hours.
• Must have good organizational and decision making skills.
• Must be able to read and write professional documents.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

General:

• Must maintain consistent, predictable, and satisfactory attendance and punctuality as scheduled.
• Must be able to demonstrate upon request functional literacy and numeric proficiency.
• Must have command of the English language sufficient to verbally communicate with the general public.
• Must not present a significant current risk of substantial harm to self or others in the performance of the essential duties of the job that cannot be eliminated or reduced by reasonable accommodation.

WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS:

• Works indoors in either a warehouse or store setting. Environment is heated or may be air conditioned, and may include exposure to dust.
• Moderate adaptability required: Work environment occasionally hectic (fast paced) with irregular short deadlines and a limited number of critical or unusual situations.
• DOT Strength Classification Medium.
