Distribution Requirements Planner

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, (DRP Planner), are to:

• Develop and implement the inventory position plan to enable achievement of shipping targets and supports the execution of the manufacturing production schedules, while maintaining safe working operations and managing through capacity constraints in production, warehousing and docks;
• Utilize data analytics and optimization tools to improve product positioning and cost of goods;
• Create and communicate the near term inventory positioning plan with cross functional Supply Chain stakeholders on a weekly cadence, measuring adherence to the plan, and collaboratively address challenges with achieving inventory coverage targets;
• Serve a critical role in cross functional initiatives with warehousing and distribution planning for product launches and distribution network changes;
• Maintain all ERP transactions required with execution of the inventory replenishment plan;
• Partner with SCIP team on inventory prepositioning requirements to customer distribution warehouses;
• Maintains DRP performance related KPIs for product line.

Required Qualifications:

• Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related degree
• At least four years broad professional experience in Supply Chain Planning or related field with additional crop science experience;
• Demonstrates computer skills and ability to learn new systems and tools;
• Strong Communication skills including capability to clearly present information to influence others both verbally and written;
• Demonstrates attention to detail and organization skills;
• Ability to work and excel within a diverse team to achieve results.
