Primary Responsibilities
Clearly understand forward looking business needs and industry business & data management trends.
Architect strategy to manage database systems availability, reliability, recoverability and security.
Design the company’s database platforms to ensure data integrity and business flexibility for future growth demands.
Provide architecture and design for database technology, Business Intelligence, and Data Integration.
Guide the implementation of database technologies and disciplines by providing input and expertise.
Work with other architects on enterprise-wide IT strategies and technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology.
10 plus years of Database Architecture / Infrastructure and Application experience with at least 5 years in a lead design or architectural capacity.
Infrastructure experience with server, storage, Linux, Oracle Engineered Systems.
Database experience in Apache Cassandra, Datastax DSE, SQL Server, Oracle and data migration or replication method.
Application experience with Oracle EBS, module management, patching, cloning to include Application DBA activities.
Broad knowledge and experience with multiple data management concepts such as Big Data, ETL, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.
