Job Summary: The Project Foreman is responsible for leading the assigned project. This position requires up to 50% overnight travel. Essential Functions: ConstructionManages subcontractors Maintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment by following and enforcing company and regulatory procedures Follow all construction guidelines and manufacturer’s installation procedures Keep accurate daily records of assigned projects Manage company supplied tools and equipment; report maintenance needs. Inspect work at critical phases of project to ensure proper installation methods were followed Coordinate material needs and verify accuracy of such items and when they are needed onsite Perform various construction duties Coordinate and assign tasks to job site employees Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards GeneralMay work in the Service or Warehouse Department as needed Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas Keeps himself/herself groomed and clothed as per dealership guidelines As with all other employees, you will be expected to be a team player All other duties assigned. Skills & Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Willingness and ability to travel overnight 50% of the time 3-5 years of related work experience is required Strong mechanical aptitude Valid Driver’s License Understand the need for confidentiality and discretion; position may be exposed to sensitive information Excellent phone etiquette, communication and organizational skills Punctual and able to work with minimal supervision Customer service driven Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to learn quickly, resolve issues, and meet deadlines Motivated self-starter and team player with excellent attention to detail Competencies: SpecificAttendance: Timely in arriving to/departing from work as well as returning from lunch and breaks. Position Type & Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work business hours plus strong likelihood of overtime. Summer months are particularly busy. Reasoning Ability It is necessary in this position to have the ability to set priorities. Must be able to make sound decisions using good judgment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions for this job. There is the need for constant bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting boxes up to 150 lbs. General upkeep is required of the personal workspace and vehicle. Work Environment The typical work environment is a pool, or construction area, and will include exposure to hazardous chemicals. The usual and customary methods of performing the job’s functions require the following physical demands: some lifting at a minimum of 75 lbs., carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 60% walking, 30% standing, and 10% sitting. Some exposure to a warehouse environment is likely.
