Operate and properly maintain Standlee Hay Company equipment, including, but not limited a yard spotter and trailers. Maintain accurate and timely DOT records and comply with all DOT regulations. Use precaution and safety while handling all Standlee Hay Company equipment. Maintain a professional standard while working for Standlee Hay Company Inc. This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and expectations for performance. It cannot encompass all specific job tasks that an employee may be required to perform. Key Performance Areas (Essential Functions of the Position)

• Drive yard spotter and/or truck hooked to various trailers to transport product between warehouses and fill in if customer deliveries are needed.

• Maintain contact with Distribution Center leadership to receive instructions.

• Maintain log book or DVIR’s according to state and federal regulations.

• Maintain clean vehicles and equipment.

• Assist in loading and unloading product between warehouses.

• Perform warehouse related duties (stock rotation, pulling orders, loading trucks, unloading trucks and railcars, reworking product, etc).

Needs to have great people skills. Work as a team.

• Follows all traffic laws, rules and regulations and drives in a safe manner at all times.

• Always suggest ideas to make your job easier and safe.

Business Impact

• Bonded, driver will have to have a clean record and be finger-printed in the UPRR.

Position Requirements

• Driver must have a class A CDL, experience preferred

• Must be able to operate lift truck and other warehouse equipment (training provided)

Working Conditions

• Non-climate controlled warehouse environment, working in vehicle/equipment cabins (some of which are not climate controlled)
