Job Description: Working primarily within the Oracle R12 EBS platform, the business systems analyst serves as a senior, internal consultant and advisor between the client and technology group for Order to Fulfillment and WMS functions. Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of complex, company-wide, business problems relating to systems. Provides strategic and technical guidance to identify, evaluate and develop systems or automated processes. Applies knowledge of industry trends and technology to drive organizational change. Transforms strategic company architecture and design principles into specific systems requirement and specifications. Resolves issues and provides solutions that meet business requirement and are cost effective. Prepares specifications for system changes. Recommends and initiates systems testing. Re-engineers technical processes and systems for greater efficiencies with positive impact to business operations. Primary Skills: Oracle WMS ,Oracle Inventory, Oracle Purchasing and Order Management. Desired Knowledge: Implementation and support experience in Oracle WMS/ SCM Modules, and strong understanding in application integration with in Oracle EBS and with Third Party Systems. Key responsibilities: Responsible for taking care of all production issues, projects, and enhancements in areas like – Warehouse Operations – Inbound and Outbound – Picking and Put-away rules – Cross Docking – Telnet receiving – Zone picking and strategies – Label Printing – Warehouse Control Board – Cartonization – Mobile Supply Chain Applications. Drive and execute testing phases during the project lifecycle – Working with Project Lead/Project Manager on various functional and delivery aspects – Collaborate with Oracle, customers, third party vendors and support functions for day to day issues/requirements. Expert in the Oracle Order Management modules (OM, Shipping, Advance pricing, EDI). Understanding of Order Entry, Order Booking, Pick Release, Ship Confirm, Invoicing. Understanding of third party shipping integrations, integration of order management and inventory modules with third party systems, third party wms tools, interfaces between multiple oracle and third party systems. Qualifications: Qualifications: Serve as technology and process expert in Oracle ERP Distribution modules such as Oracle Order Management, MSCA, Shipping, Inventory, Depot Repair, MRP and integrations across EBS and third-party modules. Expert with Order to Cash processes such as Standard Sales Order, assemble to order, pick to Order, back-to-Back Order, Drop Ship Order, Bill Only and Ship Only Orders. Experience with 3rd party shipping/manifest applications and their interfaces with ERP systems (Oracle). Experience with material flow, material planning, demand/supply, oracle MRP sourcing rules, planning, and scheduling setups along with forecasting, forecast consumptions, and Master production schedules. Experience with WMS systems. Knowledge of the interaction between WMS applications with Oracle eBS Financials, Procurement, Manufacturing, ASCP, and Logistics Applications. Functional experience in MFG (BOM, WIP) Inventory Planning along with strong MRP, MPS, Forecast and ASCP planning experience. Functional experience in handling Depot Repair process, serial transfers, repair service requests, repair resolution management. Excellent knowledge and experience in Oracle Order Management Integration with third party Order Entry applications. Through understanding of integration of Oracle Shipping with third party systems using Oracle XML Gateway and Oracle transport agent. Experience with Oracle MSCA functionality and supporting handheld devices usage in a warehouse environment.
