Application Development / Maintenance (State Street Bank And Trust Company; Austin, TX): The Application/Development position is a lead architect role for the Risk Reporting application. The individual has functional knowledge of the business continuity, vendor risk, and information technology risk domains, as well as technical expertise in Oracle databases, ETL tools, and reporting platforms such as PowerBI, Qlikview, and Tableau. Specific duties of the position include: managing the end-to-end architecture of the system; being responsible for successful POC implementations using Alteryx; articulating the architecture and putting an implementation plan in place; gaining a thorough understanding of all the incoming and outgoing data sources and feeds; applying experience in any ETL tools; providing solution design in integrating various data sources like Flat Files and Databases and transforming the data into Data Warehouse and DataMarts; building, delivering, and maintaining UAT and Prod environments; supporting user acceptance training; working closely with the Business, Product Management, Application Development, SQA, and Infrastructure teams with items such as Unix/Linux, Windows, and DBA; ensuring deliverables are tracked and delivered effectively; utilizing job scheduling tools like Autosys; applying knowledge of vendor risk, business continuity, and technology risk domains; utilizing skills in Oracle PL/SQL Development and Oracle performance tuning; developing ETL tools; applying previous knowledge in GIT HUB; applying experience in utilizing reporting tools like Power BI; and utilizing strong SQL development skills. Minimum requirements: Masters degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field; and 3 years of related experience (pre- or post-masters). Alternatively, will accept a Bachelors degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field; and 5 years of related experience.
Must have: demonstrated experience articulating the architecture and putting an implementation plan in place; proven experience with ETL tools; demonstrated experience providing solution design in integrating various data sources like Flat Files and Databases and transforming the data into Data Warehouse and DataMarts; demonstrated experience building, delivering, and maintaining UAT and Prod environments; demonstrated experience supporting user acceptance training; demonstrated experience utilizing job scheduling tools like Autosys; demonstrated experience applying knowledge of vendor risk, business continuity, and technology risk domains; demonstrated experience utilizing skills in Oracle PL/SQL Development and Oracle performance tuning; demonstrated experience with GIT HUB; demonstrated experience utilizing reporting tools like Power BI; and demonstrated experience utilizing SQL.
